Q: Where can I buy your books (Other Boys)?
A: Other Boys should be available wherever books are sold. Check out your local indie to see if it’s in stock. Most book stores will special order books they don’t already have in stock on request!
Q: When did you start drawing?
A: I started drawing sometime before kindergarten and never stopped.
Q: Where did you go to school?
A: I received my MFA in Writing for Children from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.
Q: Do you need to go to an expensive art school to be an artist?
A: No, there are many determined artists who have managed to break into their desired industries through social media. Though college/university can be helpful if you’re unsure of the direction you’d like to go in and would like to make connections.
Q: What do you use to create your art?
A: I work in a lot of mediums, using various materials. When working traditionally I tend to paint with watercolor and use ink with Faber Castell pens for outlining. When working digitally I use a mix of Procreate and Adobe Photoshop.
